Surfing the Edge

The closest I came to snowboarding in California was on my trip to Ashland. I could see Mt. Shasta tempting me, but I knew that I would instead dare the long drive to Warner Canyon for some untracked, dry powder. Still, California could pose a formidable Challenge.
